Medicine, Law or Business
- MD requires MCAT.
- JD requires LSAT.
- MBA requires GMAT/GRE.
- If you're applying other than these three departments check for specific requirements of the program by “the school of that department” whether a test is required or not.
- If Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program is not asking for a test score then Graduate Degree Program Stanford don’t want it either.
- Don’t need a test score while you're applying for Knight Hennessy Scholarship but needed when applying for Graduate Degree Program Stanford
IELTS
- IELTS/TOEFL or English Language Proficiency Certificate from Previous University.
Stories
- Two recommendation letters: referees will submit their respective letters online.
- Details, evidence, anecdotes, examples that really help to bring you to life: what things you have done and how.
- Both Knight Hennessy Scholarship and Graduate Degree Program Stanford requires different recommendation letters.
- Recommendation Letter for Graduate Degree Program Stanfordonly will only and solely about the Graduate Degree Program you're going to apply.
Your Essays
Complement stories that others have told them about you in the recommendation letters.
There are two questions:
1. Essay questions focused on past and future:
- Relationship, experiences, exposure, and education.
- Connect the dots on how the influences in your life have shaped you.
2. How these two program experiences support this?
- The essay reflects: who you are, your values, your ideals, your choices and your potentials.
Two short answers:
- Three short term goals.
- Eight improbable facts about you: that is unlikely but true.
Video
Teach them something:
- No more than 2 minutes and less than 30 seconds.
- A family recipe, you learned on a team, you discovered in a research lab…
